Oguaa Hall holds maiden staff and Students Awards

Oguaa Hall, has honoured its staff for their dedication and service at the maiden Staff and Students Awards ceremony held at the Aluta Square.

Hardworking staff and students with first class affiliated with the Hall were presented with certificates and cash prizes.

Special prizes were also given to former Hall wardens and Hall tutors.

The award scheme was designed to recognise and celebrate outstanding performance and meritorious service by workers as well as first class students to motivate them to do more and also inspire others.

The Dean of Students, Prof. Daniel Apaak, in his address as the special guest, commended Oguaa Hall for motivating its staff and affiliated students through the award while congratulating all winners in the various categories.

He lauded the introduction of the award scheme by Oguaa Hall and urged other halls to emulate it.

The Hall Master, Prof. Baah Sefa-Ntiri, lauded the staff as the backbone of the Hall’s success, emphasizing that the awards symbolize gratitude for their commitment.

He said the award scheme was an initiative by management of the Hall to motivate staff and students to offer their best.

He commended the Awards Committee led by Dr. Emmanuel Afutu, the Senior Hall Tutor, for the good work.

He said the selection process was fair, saying: " In fact, staff and students themselves recognised that  the awardees deserve the Awards, he said.

He impressed on all staff of the hall to work selflessly, despite the challenges, to bring relief to students and make Oguaa Hall great.

He encouraged the students to take their studies seriously to win more awards.
